Welcome
We hope you will join us in Vancouver this spring for our 2nd Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM). Like last year, this meeting will bring together researchers and clinicians funded by the Terry Fox Research Institute and the Terry Fox Foundation.
The meeting will have plenary sessions on personalized medicine, selective therapies, biomarkers, and the tumour microenvironment. A preliminary program has been posted.
The Organizing Committee encourages posters from all meeting attendees, and has provided significant time for scientific discussion and interaction.
Space at the hotel is limited so we remind you to register early. You’ll find all the details about this year’s meeting on this ASM web site.

This year’s Annual Scientific Meeting will also include two
additional TFRI events in conjunction with the main meeting
TFRI Public Dialogue (Vancouver)
- The evening of May 12, 2010 will feature the Vancouver session of the Terry Fox Research Institute’s Pan-Canadian series of public dialogues titled “Patient-Centred Care in a Personalized Treatment World”. The dialogues provide the opportunity for stakeholders to discuss regional issues concerning cancer care and research.
