Purpose

To provide outstanding young researchers with support as they develop their career as independent research scientists or clinician scientists and to undertake high-quality research into cancer in close collaboration with established research teams.

Scope

Support under this RFA is targeted at high-quality biomedical, clinical and translational research providing information which may form the basis of innovative cancer prevention, diagnosis and/or treatment.

Support offered

Awards of up to $150,000 per annum are tenable for three years and provide:

• Research expenses, including research staff and equipment
• Travel and accommodation for scientifically justified visits

Submit an Application Summary by Monday May 31st, 2010
Submit a Full Application by Monday July 12th, 2010
