| Abstract: |
Novel anti-proliferative agents
Discovering new prototypes of anti-cancer charges is the objective of our laboratories. This project is at the crossroads of modern chemistry (synthetic organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry and chemical genomics) and biology (molecular and cellular biology, biochemistry and animal models of cancer). The objective of this project is to identify a group of molecules having anti-proliferative and anti-tumoral activities. Central to this research, is the discovery of novel approaches to the synthesis of novel molecular scaffolds and nucleoside analogs. Their biological evaluation in vitro and in vivo using resistant cancer cell lines will be pursued. |
