Michael Mazza has a deep passion for healthcare philanthropy. Prior to his current role as CEO at Terry Fox Foundation he served as EVP, Leadership Giving at Canadian Cancer Society, CEO of Scarborough Health Network Foundation, and CEO of Renascent Foundation.
Michael is just as inspired by Terry’s bold vision today as he was in 1980 to achieve a world without cancer through radical collaboration in research and fundraising. Michael believes everybody has a role to play to finish the marathon against cancer--from community supporters at Terry Fox Runs to large-scale philanthropists to venture investors-–and that advances in technology and science will drive a renaissance in cancer research that will significantly improve diagnosis, treatment, and outcomes for patients.
