Join the annual Terry Fox Run Challenge!

On April 12, 1980, Terry Fox began his Marathon of Hope. Forty-six years later, we continue his legacy by uniting to fundraise for cancer research and advance the discoveries that will help finish his marathon against cancer.

That work continues through our annual Terry Fox Run Challenge, which brings research teams together to fundraise for the Terry Fox Run taking place on Sunday, September 20.

What is the Terry Fox Run Challenge?

Each year, Terry Fox-funded researchers across Canada register their teams for the Terry Fox Run and fundraise for cancer research. The Run Challenge brings these teams together, along with families and friends, in a friendly competition to see who can raise the most.

Over the past 10 years, research teams have raised nearly $1.2 million to invest back into cancer research in Canada!

A special thank you to the 28 teams who participated last year, raising nearly $180K and setting a new second-place record in the Challenge.

In keeping with tradition, we’re setting an ambitious goal of $190,000!
