TFRI hosts talk on the future of clinical trials featuring Dr. Elizabeth Eisenhauer

Last Friday, October 29th, the TFRI hosted a virtual talk with Dr. Elizabeth Eisenhauer, professor emerita, oncology and medicine, Queen's University, on the future of clinical trials in Canada. The event was part of Gairdner Science Week.

Dr. Eisenhauer is the 2021 Gairdner Wightman Award winner, and has decades of experience working on clinical trials. 

The event was moderated by Dr. Jim Woodgett, President and Scientific Director of the Terry Fox Research Institute and a Senior Scientist with Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute, part of Sinai Health and Dr. Pamela Goodwin, former director of the Marvelle Koffler Breast Centre at Mount Sinai Hospital, and an active clinician-scientist at the Lunenfeld Tanenbaum Research Institute.
