TFRI's 9th Scientific Meeting brings cancer researchers from across Canada to Vancouver

Last weekend, the Terry Fox Research Institute held its 9th Scientific Meeting in Vancouver.

Over 230 delegates representing all our TFRI-funded projects were at the event, which featured scientific presentations from principal investigators and trainees from a number of our teams, including the Marathon of Hope Cancer Centres Network. The event also featured a Terry Fox Run led by Darrell Fox and an emotional celebration dinner for Dr. Victor Ling, TFRI's founding president and scientific director, who retired in August 2021.

More importantly, the meeting served as an excellent reminder of one of Terry Fox's most important messages: that we are all a part of the Marathon of Hope and that we must all work together to find new ways to end cancer through research.
